Hello…I am Robin, author of faith-family-food, and more importantly, a Christian. I am a wife to Paul and mother to Alyssa. I started faith-family-food to share my passions with you: faith in an awesome God, fun times with family, and, mmm…food! I know I can sure use more positives in my messy, crazy life and I’m writing for others that may be feeling the same way. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I want to reach out to you, my readers, with real stories, real words that get me through the tough times, and some really yummy food!
Join me as I use my imperfect life to praise a perfect God, study His word, and have a little fun in the kitchen along the way. Grab some tips and recipes to save yourself some time, so you can enjoy the important things in life…spending time with the ones you love and doing the activities that make you happy.
Faith-family-food became real in 2017, after I finished 18 years of teaching and called it quits. Teaching kindergarten and special education wears out a body, mind, and soul, especially when I was fighting so hard to do what I thought was best for kids, only to be overruled by mandates and administration. So for the sake of my sanity and health, and with the support of my amazing family, I made the decision to leave teaching and become a work-at-home mom. When I am not writing for my blog or experimenting with recipes, you can find me reading on my deck, walking in my neighborhood, playing Legos with my daughter, or watching sports on TV. And if I’m really having a top-notch kind of day, I’ll be hiking to waterfalls in Arkansas, Tennessee, or North Carolina.
